Twilight fans did not disappoint… New Moon opened with a $140.7 million weekend!
This record breaking debut falls short of only two, The Dark Knight and Spider-Man 3. E! reports, “Even though New Moon made more money in its first two days, the superhero movies scored bigger Sundays.” Another surprise, more male viewers came out to see the vampire love story, increasing about three percent from last year.
Eclipse, the third enstallment to the Twilight Saga is set to release June 30, 2010… Will this be even bigger?
